Elemental recently decided to bring you our very own newest set of ombré color collections! This recently-launched 20 oz insulated water bottles with sports lids that are sure to stand out from the crowd with their trendy colors! Check out these interesting facts and trivia behind every Ombre color bottle and our inspiration with each color name.

Why Ombre?

In French, ombré means “shade” or “shadow.” In the hair color world, ombré is a dramatic, two-toned hair color effect that is typically darker at the top and lighter on the bottom. We can also see this on some trendy items that we have like cars, bags, shirts, and insulated water bottles. Which helps the item to stand out and bring a more eye-catching design.

🔓BERRIES BLAST 🍓🫐

Fun facts about Berries:

💡 The tiny hairs are called ‘styles’. Styles are leftover from the berry blossom, they serve to protect the berry from damage. Styles are completely safe for consumption.

💡Raspberries and blackberries are aggregate fruits, meaning that the big piece of fruit you enjoy is actually dozens of tiny fruits growing together. These tiny fruits, or bumps, are called drupletes.

These berry-inspired insulated stainless steel water bottles have the perfect combination of hot pink and purple that really jives with each other and brings out a bright and trendy vibe that will surely stand out wherever you go!

🔓NEON WAVE 💚🌊

Neon colors made their first appearance in the form of lights in 1910. However, the process of creating “neon” started in the mid-1800s when Heinrich Geissler created sealed glass tubes with electrical currents, which caused the gasses inside to glow vibrant colors.

We have chosen Neon Wave for the name because the neon green seems like being splashed by the blue waves of the ocean. These powder-coated colors complement each other and make a perfect Summer vibe with a touch of futuristic vibe because of the Neon green.

🔓 LIGHTNING STORM ⚡️⛈

💡Interesting Fact:

Clouds that are higher in the atmosphere make the sunsets more colorful, clouds that are lower in the atmosphere tend to mean that there is a storm occurring.

This color theme is inspired by a strike of lightning in the middle of cloudy or stormy weather. The combination of Gray and White represents the unclear sky that appears whenever there is a storm coming and the perfectly placed yellow detachable handles serve as lightning striking in the middle of the storm. Another cool color with powder coating that is simple and minimalist yet trendy in style.

🔓 SUNSET TWIST ☀️🧡

Why is Sunset Red?

Blue is scattered more than other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. However, at sunset, light has further to travel through the atmosphere. The shorter wavelength blue light is scattered further, as the sunlight passes over a greater distance, and we see the longer wavelength yellow and red light.

This Sunset inspired water bottle resembles a fiery sun calmly setting down all throughout the day. This kind of reminds you of the Sunset horizon color, right? Color is perfect for those who love sunset, and those who love bright colors! It gives the perfect twist of Sunlight and rays. The powder coating is perfectly incorporated with its color as well. This eye-catching color combination is artistically pleasing to the eyes and calms your mood.

🔓 COTTON CANDY 🍧🍭

DID YOU KNOW❓

Cotton Candy was co-created by a dentist and a candy maker.

In 1897, a dentist in Nashville, Tennessee named Dr. William Morrison, and a candy maker named John C. Wharton got together and invented a device that melted crystallized sugar and blew it through a fine screen, which would create the threads of cotton candy.

They then packaged the threads in small, wooden boxes. The two creators introduced their machine and cotton candy at the 1904 St. Louis Fair and sold thousands of boxes of cotton candy. At the time, it was not known as cotton candy but rather, as fairy floss.

Later on, in 1921, another dentist by the name of Dr. Josef Lascaux in New Orleans improved the design of the machine and he trademarked the name “Cotton Candy.”

Fast forward to now cotton candy has also  become the most favorite color for ladies, kids and everyone who loves bright colors! With its light pink and light blue touch with powder coating and shimmer on top, these soft and dreamy ombre bottles will be one of your most favorite colors of all time.

🔓MERMAID 🧜‍♀️🐚

QUESTION: Are sirens and mermaids the same❓

ANSWER: While the word ‘siren’ is a translation of ‘mermaid’ in many languages there is a difference between the two. According to folklore mermaids and sirens are not quite the same. You’ll find that the aquatic humanoids in The Little Mermaid are far different than the ones in the show Siren.

Sirens and mermaids are both half human, and half fish. In fact, sirens are often considered to be a different type of mermaid.

This inspiration is something absolutely from a vast imagination of the perfect lavender and aqua green that meets to produce a seashell color a mermaid would wear or a tail of one of the most magical mermaids of all time! Plus, it has powder coating and shimmer on top which makes it more sparkly and magical! Don’t limit your imagination, with this water bottle, you could make your little sister happy as it is also a color of fairy tale and magic!
